Arts Council ends Arts Café and Art in Action

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Arts Council ends Arts Café and Art in Action due to low attendance. Chairperson Larry Casey presided as the council decided to discontinue both programs, which have experienced declining attendance over recent years. The town budget passed with $17,000 for the council, including $7,000 replacing a now-eliminated New Hampshire state arts grant.
The council welcomed Cyndi Peterson as a ninth voting member and plans to brainstorm replacement programming at a future meeting.
