NH LONDONDERRY — Beautify Londonderry Committee approves Welcome sign refurbishment and fundraising push. Chair Joy Fraga-Muller presided over the meeting, attended by Beth Murray, John Mahon, and John Loker, with Town Council Liaison Deb Paul absent. The committee voted unanimously to approve prior minutes and moved forward with plans to send the town's Welcome to Londonderry signs to Center Harbor for refurbishment, with the Department of Public Works handling removal and reinstallation.
To fund the work, Beth Murray presented 100 committee hats priced at $25 each, projected to raise $2,000. Larry Casey of the Londonderry Arts Council provided fundraising guidance, while the committee finalized spring cleanup planning for April 11 with a rain date of April 18, and established a six-event "Sponsor a Road" schedule through June.
