Beautify Londonderry shifts committee leadership

NH LONDONDERRY — Beautify Londonderry committee restructures leadership with unanimous votes. Chair Joy Fraga-Muller stepped down to become secretary and Secretary John Mahon moved to chair in back-to-back 4-0 votes at the June 16 meeting. The four "Welcome to Londonderry" signs are on track for completion by June 29, with the Department of Public Works handling installation.

Waste Management joined as a new Sponsor-A-Road partner with signs ordered for Liberty Drive. The committee plans to donate hats for raffles at Concerts on the Common on June 17 and operate a booth at Old Home Days to sell hats for fundraising. Town Council Liaison Deb Paul briefed the committee on New Hampshire Casino Charities funding available through registered charity fiscal agents.
