NH LONDONDERRY — Library Board of Trustees establishes director search committee with six applicants already received. The Board formed a search committee to fill the director vacancy, immediately convening two Board members, two library staff, and one Friends of the Library representative to review six applications. The Board approved a $1,674.40 merit increase for Alexandria Nicoll and up to $350 in thank-you gifts to the Londonderry Police Department.
A proposal to permanently eliminate late fees for CDs, DVDs, and materials—based on research showing fees reduce library engagement—was deferred to October 7 for a vote.
