Budget Committee elects new leadership, moves to strategic budgeting

NH LONDONDERRY — The Londonderry Budget Committee elected three new officers and discussed moving to strategic budgeting. Kate Burbidge was unanimously elected Chair, Nicole Dery Vice Chair, and Matt Tapley Secretary. The Committee plans to shift its FY 2028 budget process to begin in September or October, earlier than the traditional November start, and will separate budget hearings from Town Council meetings for more efficient, focused department presentations.
Department tours will begin in April with the Police Department, resuming in the fall pending mold remediation at the Library.
