Budget Committee · Meeting of May 21, 2026

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Budget Committee establishes FY2028 timeline, pursues Priority-Based Budgeting framework. The committee set preliminary FY2028 budget kickoff discussions for November 7, 2026, and discussed separating its meetings from the Town Council to increase liaison involvement, while Chair Kate Burbidge presided over liaison reports covering capital projects and operations across schools, Department of Public Works, fire, police, planning, and library departments. The committee reached consensus to defer its July regular meeting and identified goals including earlier departmental involvement, improved member education, and preparation for Priority-Based Budgeting implementation, with potential training beginning in January 2027.
