NH LONDONDERRY — Cemetery Trustees approve $25,000 trust fund release for maintenance. Cara Dunn and Laura El Azem authorized the withdrawal to cover work by contractors Shady Hill and Trimmers across seven town cemeteries. The board accepted a land donation at 7 Litchfield Road adjacent to Pleasant View Cemetery from a developer with no stipulations.
Since reopening in April, the cemeteries have recorded 17 burials and sold six plots; 49 plots remain available. Spring 2027 cemetery expansion is targeted for bidding this fall, with parking space additions under investigation. Several pending matters include descendant burial procedures, rules for former resident plot purchases, uniform signage, columbarium feasibility, and green burial availability.
