Conservation Commission addresses wetland buffer impacts in subdivision and utility pole replacement

NH LONDONDERRY — Conservation Commission defers two conditional-use applications pending departmental coordination. Chair Marge Badois and members reviewed an eight-lot subdivision at 90 Wiley Hill Road with 9,842 square feet of permanent wetland buffer impact; the Commission requested lot-count reduction study, fire-department turnaround review, and snow-storage clarification before resubmission. Lindsey Tower and Kurt Nelson presented the Eversource 326 transmission line project, replacing eleven poles between October 2026 and May 2027; the Commission asked Nelson to investigate why revegetation pads were not reduced from 100-by-100 to 40-by-60 feet as proposed.
The Commission approved April 14 minutes by a vote of 8 to 0, with one abstention.
