Conservation Commission recommends denial of Mack's Apples wetland waiver request

Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 27, 2026

NH LONDONDERRY — Conservation Commission denies wetland waiver for Mack's Apples restaurant proposal. Laura Gandia presented the agritourism project to add a 99-seat farm-to-table restaurant at 230A Mammoth Road, but the commission recommended denying the waiver to skip wetland delineation, citing concerns that increased traffic would encroach on wetlands and wildlife habitat around a farm pond containing fish. Chair Marge Badois led the commission in conditionally approving a reduction of the conservation overlay buffer to 25 feet on the property's west side, with the full 50-foot buffer preserved elsewhere.

The commission also unanimously approved 150 dollars for mountain bike trail repairs.
