Council authorizes $918,000 in building repairs and firefighter grant

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Town Council approves $918,000 in municipal building repairs and firefighter grant application. The five-member Council voted unanimously to authorize $345,722 for Fire Station #2 exterior repairs and $572,461 for Leach Library Phase 2A building envelope repairs, with combined trust fund transfers totaling $250,000. The Council also voted 4-1 to authorize Town Manager Shaun Mulholland to submit an application for the federal Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grant, which would add eight firefighter-EMT positions with Year 1 federal funding of $791,027 against a town match of $263,676.12.
