Council deadlocked on probe into Combes conduct

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Town Council remains deadlocked on investigating alleged Charter violations by Councilor Ted Combes. Two motions to open a formal enquiry and authorize the Town Manager to retain independent legal counsel both failed 2-2, with Chair Ron Dunn voting against both. Councilor Dan Bouchard sponsored both motions, seconded by Councilor Deb Paul, but could not secure a third vote.
With the Council deadlocked, Town Manager Shaun Mulholland stated he would enforce the Charter provisions himself.
