Council debates legal counsel following Town Manager complaint investigation

Town Council · Meeting of June 29, 2026

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Town Council meets briefly to discuss legal counsel amid Town Manager investigation. Chair Ron Dunn explained the Council has decided to engage a separate law firm to conduct a thorough investigation into complaints regarding Town Manager Shaun Mulholland, creating a legal subcommittee to oversee the confidential investigation. Sheehan Phinney is proposed as general counsel, excluded from the investigation work.

Councilor Dan Bouchard objected to the process and invoked councilor privilege on both legal counsel engagement items, preventing further public action. The Council adjourned unanimously.
