Town Council · Meeting of October 5, 2026

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Town Council deadlocked 2-2 on reinstatement of former Town Manager Shaun Mulholland in two failed motions. Councilor Dan Bouchard and Councilor Deb Paul sought reinstatement under the Town Charter and 14th Amendment, while Chair Ron Dunn and Councilor Ted Combes opposed. The same split rejected Bouchard and Paul's motion for a second legal opinion on Town Charter Article 4.

Extended public comment from residents including Michelle Schwartz, Clarissa Navarro, and Beth Marrocco raised concerns about lack of transparency, unauthorized legal spending, and the million-dollar cost of the termination. The Council voted unanimously to schedule a public hearing November 2 on Zoning Ordinance amendments and to authorize Acting Town Manager Kim Bernard to enter into an intermunicipal lease with the School District for a Town Hall office addition.
