Council rejects Strategic Plan; schedules August 17 public hearing.
Town Council · Meeting of July 20, 2026
NH LONDONDERRY — Council rejects Strategic Plan over accountability measures; schedules August hearing. Councilors Dan Bouchard and Deb Paul backed the 2027-2029 plan on a 2-3 vote, but Chair Ron Dunn, Vice Chair Shawn Faber, and Councilor Ted Combes opposed, citing redundancy, lack of staff capacity, and scope beyond council resources. Stakeholders expressed strong concern that deletions would eliminate measurement tools needed to track progress and ensure transparency.
The Council unanimously approved 1.55 million dollars in capital projects: roof repairs and solar installation on multiple town buildings and two new Type I ambulances with minimum two-year delivery timeline.
