Capital Improvements Program (CIP) Committee · Meeting of August 11, 2026

NH LONDONDERRY — Fire Department presents major capital plan for first time in years. Fire Chief Jim Young outlined requests totaling over $7.6 million across apparatus, facilities, and equipment from FY27 through FY32, including a $1,981,000 Rescue 1 replacement (contract FY27), $2,485,600 Ladder 2 truck, and a town-wide emergency communications upgrade at $202,400 to enable radio transmit-and-receive capability at Ash Street tower, benefiting Fire, DPW, and Police. Revenue from sale of replaced apparatus will offset general fund costs or fund capital reserves.
