Heritage Commission backs pickleball courts, car dealership, and farm restaurant

NH LONDONDERRY — Heritage Commission backs three commercial projects and both Meeting House warrant articles. The commission recommended to the Planning Board a 41,700 square foot indoor-outdoor pickleball facility at 2 Highlander Way with 12 indoor and 21 outdoor courts, a change of use converting 6 Dickey Street to a retail car dealership, and renovation of an existing building at 230 Mammoth Road to add a farm-to-table restaurant. On the Reverend Morrison Meeting House, the commission voted unanimously to support the town's proposed $3.4 million renovation bond and voted 5-1 to support the Londonderry Historical Society's competing citizen petition for $950,000 in improvements, half funded from undesignated fund balance.
