Leach Library Trustees approve $494,012 ReArch building proposal
Leach Library Trustees · Meeting of May 7, 2026
NH LONDONDERRY — Leach Library Board of Trustees unanimously backs $494,012 ReArch building proposal for Town Council. The authorization includes mold remediation, humidity control rental, and glycol installation work necessary for the library's anticipated August reopening; the Town Council has already approved $94,518 in additional funding, exceeding initial projections. Ad hoc financial committee work continues to address trustee account documentation gaps—missing deposit slips and improperly voided checks from previous board members—though staff clarified these issues do not reflect library management problems.
The Board unanimously approved $12,669.42 in operational and staffing expenditures across summer reading, facility maintenance, and furniture replacement from insurance proceeds.
