Leach Library Trustees approve electrical work cap, accept donations

NH LONDONDERRY — Leach Library Trustees unanimously approve $5,000 electrical work before August reopening. Interim Director Donna Plante reported water damage remediation is complete except for an entryway ceiling assessment, with carpet arriving in two to three weeks and ReArch conducting a roof scan. The board accepted $1,215 in unanticipated funds from the Friends of Leach Library, the New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra, and Janie's Uncommon Cafe, and voted 6-1 to spend up to $380 from the Trustee account for summer reading program staff t-shirts.
FY27 staff salary ranges reflecting COLA were approved unanimously, while the board deferred to a June meeting final decisions on how to address a $51,000 budget cut.
