Leach Library Trustees approve funding for building repairs and accept grant

NH LONDONDERRY — Leach Library Trustees vote to fund repairs and accept grant while managing closures. The board unanimously approved $3,312 in electrician services, $2,046.21 for book trucks, and $700 for fire-system work related to mold remediation. Interim Director Donna Plante reported that the library is operating from a temporary satellite location while duct cleaning, mold remediation, and structural assessments continue on the main building.
The board accepted a $2,000 New Hampshire Humanities Community Project Grant for summer programming and voted to present carpet and tile replacement plans to Town Council, with additional remediation costs to follow.
