Leach Library Trustees Bylaws Subcommittee advances draft governance document

NH LONDONDERRY — Leach Library Trustees Bylaws Subcommittee refined its draft governance document. Chair Nancy Hendricks and Secretary Erica Laue revised language on public comment, trustee objections, and library cooperation. Hendricks proposed placing the trustee appointment process with the board to generate town recommendations, clarified the chair's limited statutory authority, and specified that remote board appearances require board approval, public audibility, and disclosure of who is physically present with the remote trustee to meet right-to-know compliance.
One additional meeting is scheduled before the draft proceeds to the full board.
