Leach Library Trustees financial panel weighs $51K cut's impact on collections.

Leach Library Trustees · Meeting of June 24, 2026

NH LONDONDERRY — Leach Library trustees confront $51K budget cut and accounting gaps. The Financial Ad Hoc Committee, led by Treasurer Azra Palo, Acting Director Donna Plante, and Vice Chair Beth Marrocco, discussed the potential termination of HOOPLA services and a request for $10,000 from the Trustee account to supplement book purchases delayed by building closure. Palo will authorize Plante to make deposits at TD Bank and will contact Citizens Bank to recover thousands of dollars in missing deposit documentation from previous years.

The committee set the next full Trustee meeting to accommodate budget deliberations and address the open Director position, with department heads signaling a need for additional funding in the Children's Room and Winter Challenge program lines if staffing expands.
