NH LONDONDERRY — Leach Library Trustees recommend Maryam Mallick for one-year board vacancy. Vice Chair Beth Marrocco moved to recommend Mallick over applicants Linda Lampkin and Russell Lagueux; the motion passed 4 to 2, with Trustees Moira Ryan and Jan McLaughlin dissenting. In related business, the board voted 4 to 2 to limit the scope of a pending carpet project to the original insurance scope, after the Town Council approved funding for PowerBond base flooring but declined to fund two additional areas.
Interim Library Director Donna Plante had proposed seeking grants or loans to expand the project.
