Library Phase 2B renovation advances as priority CIP project for FY2028.

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry CIP Committee endorses three library renovation and expansion projects totaling $3.3 million. Acting Library Director Donna Plante presented the Phase 2B renovation at $1,418,117 for FY2028, encompassing roof, boiler, mechanical systems, and humidity control work, designated the highest priority for warrant inclusion. The Children's Room renovation will cost $306,984 over five years starting FY2027, funded by donations and grants to address ADA compliance, while a $1.6 million addition providing programming and sensory-friendly space was marked lowest priority.
Library Board of Trustees Chair Nancy Hendricks reported the library is establishing both a maintenance trust fund and capital reserve fund this year.
