Library trustees budget panel reviews FY28 spending, staffing gaps
Leach Library Trustees · Meeting of July 8, 2026
NH LONDONDERRY — Leach Library Ad Hoc Financial Committee refines FY28 budget and explores staffing solutions. Treasurer Azra Palo and Secretary Erica Laue, with Interim Director Donna Plante, adjusted line items including a 6 percent correction to full-time salaries, a 5 percent boost to tuition reimbursement for staff pursuing Master's degrees, and a 44 percent increase in printing services to $2,500 to account for public copier usage. Plante recommended initiating the hiring process for an Executive Assistant and an Administrative and Communications Specialist, citing the library's dire need for additional staff; both proposals will go to the full Board on July 9.
The committee also addressed a missing deposit slip issue with Citizens Bank, with Palo scheduled to obtain documentation on July 9.
