NH LONDONDERRY — Library trustees suspend fines, approve satellite operations during building closure. The Leach Library Board of Trustees unanimously approved a plan for interim programming including pop-up events, notary services, and a satellite location for newly processed materials while the building undergoes repairs for a roof leak, mold, and frozen pipes. Chair Thomas, Vice Chair Helen Palmieri, Treasurer Jan McLaughlin, and Trustees Moira Ryan and Nancy Hendricks (virtual) voted 5-1 to accept an updated Memorandum of Agreement with the town.
Town Council will meet February 2, 2026, to authorize contractor hiring and identify repair funding; the timeline for completion remains undetermined pending inspection data.
