Recreation Commission reviews strategic planning process, summer programs

NH LONDONDERRY — Recreation Commission charts strategic direction with town manager guidance. Town Manager Shaun Mulholland presented the commission's role in the town's ongoing strategic planning initiative, discussing how recreation facilities and program needs will align with the capital improvement plan. The Teddy Bear Clinic scheduled for February 14 achieved the highest online registration numbers since 2024, supported by the Police Department, Leach Library, and volunteer nurses.
Voyage Camp filled on the first day with 19 remaining spots in the Summer Playground Program; the department has secured 14 returning staff members for summer and created new roles to support camp operations. A new Parents and Me program for ages four and under is in development.
