Senior Resources Committee advances CART expansion pitch for July Town Council.

NH LONDONDERRY — Senior Resources Committee prepared for a July 20 Town Council presentation aimed at expanding CART transportation services for seniors and residents with disabilities. Subcommittee members Meridel Allen, John Wilson, and Maryann Ryan reported that single-person senior households in Londonderry have doubled to 837 over the past decade, and residents living with disabilities rose from 7 percent to 12 percent between 2012 and 2023. Maryann Ryan is preparing video testimony from residents to demonstrate community need.

The committee also confirmed 26 vendors for the October 3 Senior Expo and launched the Jim Green Award nomination form online.
