Senior Resources Committee sets Jim Green Award timeline, plans August booth

NH LONDONDERRY — Senior Resources Committee advances Jim Green Award promotion efforts and finalizes Old Home Day booth coverage. Committee members, chaired by Sherry Farrell, determined that applications will open after Old Home Day, with Ilona Arndt's Senior Center hosting a July volunteer lunch to recognize outstanding individuals. The committee will distribute Jim Green Award information at an Old Home Day booth on August 15 and the Senior Expo on October 3, with vendors charged $50 fees for for-profit entities and free entry for nonprofits and government agencies.

A Warrant 22 transportation subcommittee including John Wilson, Meridel Allen, and Maryann Ryan met with the Manchester Transit Authority to explore expanded service modeled on Derry's program, including Saturday hours.
