NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Town Council endorses FY27 operating budget of $56,592,573 with $400,000 in cuts. Finance Director Justin Campo and Town Manager Shaun Mulholland presented the plan alongside competing reduction proposals from five Budget Committee members; the council voted unanimously to adopt Budget Committee Chair Kate Burbidge's $400,000 cut package, which eliminates $51,000 from Library services, moves two Human Resources positions to warrant articles for $102,973, and reduces Fire Department overtime and operational costs. The council voted 4-0-1 to recommend the operating budget.
Acting Fire Chief Phil LeBlanc secured council approval to amend the ambulance billing fee schedule to 3.25 times the Medicare rate. The projected tax rate impact is $3.728 per $1,000 of assessed value; the council moved 26 of 28 warrant articles to the February 7 Deliberative Session.
