Traffic Safety Committee defers Woodland Drive speed limit decision to Town

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Traffic Safety Committee addresses resident concerns on speed limits and sight lines. Chair Robert Ramsay led the committee meeting on January 5 at Moose Hill Council Chambers, where residents raised concerns about the speed limit on Woodland Drive and limited sight lines on Verdi Lane. The committee deferred the speed limit decision to municipal leadership and referred the sight line concern to the Town Tree Warden, determining it outside committee jurisdiction.
Public Works agreed to install a "No Outlet" sign to replace a missing "Dead End" sign on Woodland Drive. The committee also discussed traffic safety impacts of electric bicycles and scooters, noting Police Department jurisdiction over unsafe acts.
