Zoning Board approves porch replacement, two townhouse developments

NH LONDONDERRY — Londonderry Zoning Board approves townhouse variances despite traffic concerns. The board unanimously approved variances for a 12-unit development at 295 Rockingham Road and separately approved variances for a second 12-unit development at 3 Page Road and 556 Mammoth Road, with the second case passing 4-1 as member Gregory Carson dissented over parking-space placement. Abutters Brian Mead and Renee Kelly objected to both projects, citing increased traffic and privacy impacts, though the board determined the residential use met variance criteria.
The board also approved a porch-replacement variance for Deborah A. Stewart at 40 Wilson Road and continued two special-exception requests for single-family homes on Buttrick Road pending documentation from property owner Anne D. Peterson.
